1. Acceptance and Application of Terms

Welcome to use the PDF processing services provided by MicroPDF (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"). Use of any service on this Platform indicates that you (hereinafter referred to as the "User") have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") as well as all other rules published by the Platform, including the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including registered and non-registered users. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please immediately cease using all services of the Platform.

MicroPDF reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time according to business development needs. Modified Terms will be published on the Platform page, and continued use of the services after publication shall constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Service Scope and Usage Rules

MicroPDF provides users with online PDF processing services including conversion, editing, compression, merging, splitting, etc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"), with specific service content subject to the real-time display on the Platform.

1. The Platform only provides technical services and does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free services or that the services will fully meet the User's specific needs; 2. The Platform reserves the right to adjust service content and functions according to technological development and legal requirements, and will use reasonable efforts to notify Users before adjustments; 3. Some services may be paid services, with specific rules subject to the display on the order page. Completion of payment shall constitute acceptance of the corresponding paid service terms; 4. The Platform may provide links to third-party services. User's use of third-party services is independent of MicroPDF and shall comply with the relevant rules of the third party.

3. User Rights and Obligations

Users shall have the following rights when using the Platform's services:

  • Legally use all services provided by the Platform in accordance with these Terms;
  • Provide suggestions, opinions, and complaints regarding the Platform's services;
  • Exercise rights related to personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

4. Prohibited Acts

Users shall not use the Platform to engage in any illegal, irregular, or acts that harm the legitimate rights and interests of MicroPDF or third parties, including but not limited to:

  • Uploading or processing files containing illegal content, infringing content, obscene and pornographic content, violent and terrorist content;
  • Uploading or processing viruses, malicious programs, or other files that may endanger the security of the Platform's system;
  • Unauthorized access to, attack on, or damage to the Platform's servers, systems, or networks;
  • Using the Platform for fraudulent, money laundering, gambling, or other illegal and criminal activities;
  • Abusing the Platform's services (such as uploading meaningless files in batches, maliciously occupying server resources, etc.);
  • Using the Platform's services for commercial competition, maliciously slandering MicroPDF or third parties;
  • Other acts that violate laws, regulations, public order and good morals, or these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

1. All intellectual property rights of the Platform's content (including but not limited to source code, interface design, trademarks, logos, text descriptions, etc.) belong to MicroPDF. Without written authorization, Users shall not use, copy, modify, or disseminate them without permission;

2. The intellectual property rights of the file content uploaded by Users to the Platform belong to the Users or relevant right holders. MicroPDF only provides technical support for processing services and does not claim any intellectual property rights to the User's file content;

3. If a third party raises an intellectual property infringement complaint due to the User's use of the Platform's services, the User shall handle it independently and bear full responsibility. If any losses are caused to MicroPDF, the User shall compensate for such losses.

6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

1. Unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, MicroPDF shall only be liable for the provision of Platform services as agreed in these Terms, and shall not be liable for any indirect losses, incidental losses, or punitive damages;

2. MicroPDF shall not be liable for service interruptions or failure to provide services normally due to force majeure (such as natural disasters, wars, network failures, government actions, etc.), but shall use reasonable efforts to restore services;

3. MicroPDF shall not be liable for any losses caused by the User's violation of these Terms or laws and regulations;

4. MicroPDF does not conduct manual review of the file content uploaded by Users, and Users shall bear full responsibility for the legality and authenticity of the file content;

5. The Platform has taken reasonable security measures to protect User files, but shall not be liable for accidental disclosure or loss of files during transmission or storage (except in cases caused by the Platform's intentional misconduct or gross negligence).

7. Termination of Service

1. Users may stop using the Platform's services at any time. Registered users may apply for account cancellation. After account cancellation, the Platform will process User data in accordance with the Privacy Policy;

2. If a User violates any part of these Terms, MicroPDF reserves the right to suspend or terminate the provision of all or part of the services to the User without prior notice;

3. MicroPDF may terminate some or all services after notifying Users in advance according to business adjustments. After termination of services, the Platform will process User data in accordance with the Privacy Policy;

4. After termination of services, the provisions of these Terms related to intellectual property, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, etc., that need to remain effective shall continue to apply.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

1. The conclusion, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of these Terms shall all be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict of laws rules);

2. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation between the parties; if negotiation fails, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with the people's court having jurisdiction over the place where MicroPDF is located.
